Kickers/Punters
 

Ok, where do you assign your K and P? I picked up two kickers in MP, one excellent for kickoffs, the other field goals. Where do I assign their happy asses?

Kick offs are not important with the new rule. If you have a great kick off kicker and gets a lot of touchback they will start in the 25 yard line. If you don't and you have a good coverage team they will start roughly in the same yard, maybe 26 or 27 yard line, but is not worth it to waste a roster spot where you can have an specialist (pass rusher, run stopper NT, Possession WR...) instead.

Does the game automatically put in the player with the highest kick holding rating as well? I don't see any place for that like in fof7

If the desired 'holder' is set to play special teams, then yes he is.

Kick Holders
 

I'm still foggy about how FOF 8 assigns kick holders. I have an ace FG kicker who has 4 potential holders, 3 quarterbacks and the punter, available. The punter has a terrible holder rating. All the quarterbacks have good holder ratings. I know about the special teams rating of 'encouraged' or 'not encouraged'. Do I make the punter 'not encouraged' so as to ensure his lousy kick holding rating is not used? Or am I missing something else?
