where to play stud cb
I've got a stud at CB but its a big drop off after him, is it better to list him as RCB or LCB. Is there a side that gets more action like in the real NFL? Thnx

LCB lines up against the flanker, RCB lines up with the split end.

That's not always true. You can use the option to have your top CB cover the top WR. I'm not sure it matters significantly if you play your top guy at LCB or RCB. |
If you are game planning each game, this decision would be made after you determine which of your opponents receivers you want him to line up against. you can move defensive players around a lot easier so no need to fully commit to one side.
Against the AI and most players.. teams will run to the strong side more often. Assuming your stud has run stopping ability, by default you would line him up on the left side to assist in strong side runs. If your opponent only runs an average of 3 plays out of the 1-0-4 formation, and you see he targets the X every time, make sure you line your guy up on the X in that formation etc. |
thanks fellas your comments have been helpful
