I remember when I was in a band called Another Engine here in Oklahoma. Some band with the same name threatened to sue us because they were also using the name. We ended up breaking up a few weeks later after our drummer got arrested... but I wonder if Skydog (the man) could soon be facing a lawsuit from Skydog (the band).

Will you represent him, Ksyrup? :)

I haven't heard the other band's music yet! :p

Actually, SD isn't going by SD, he's Ben E Lou. So he's safe.

I just thought it was funny that there is a band - from Georgia, no less - using the name Skydog!

Actually that is pretty funny/ironic. My defense:

1. I'd never heard of 'em before reading this thread.
2. When I took on the internet screen name of "SkyDog," I had no intentions at the time of ever recording any music.
3. SkyDog is a good enough name to use on a sports-based internet message board, but would be a pretty stupid name for a solo acoustic artist. :p (Its fine for a band though...)

The defense rests. :D
