Need Help Remembering an Old PC Football Game
There was an old PC football game I used to play as a kid. This was late 80's, early 90's I believe. I don't remember if it had an NFL license or not but it did at least have players numbers matching who they were in real life. For instance I remember Neal Anderson being the Bears RB.
Anyways, you basically played as the coach. It was in 2D and I believe the guys that simulated out each play were just X's and O's on the screen. From what I remember the game played vertically. It kept stats and everything. I can't think of a place that would have more knowledge of these types of games and hoping I could get some help remembering what it was called. |

That was a great game! ESPN used it to run dream season, really cool concept https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_Dream_Season |

There was a college basketball version, that I still think provided THE best in game experience in any sim short of Football Manager. XOR football was a lot of fun too. It wasn't perfect. I still remember that the screen pass versus the most effective blitz would go the distance. |
Yep XOR.
I still play it using an old 286 emulator....good times |
I remember XOR !! It was great for its time.
