Here's where we were after Thursday:

NTN had all 6 players in action--got 20+ from Devonte Graham, Keenan Evans, Mike Daum, and Kevin Knox, but lost Daum and Allonzo Trier in the process.

After the Round of 64:

My long bet on Azubuike doeesn't look as great with Haas done for the tournament...

I was going to poke fun at Karl for passing up my designated 10+ from Buffalo... but he picked a 10+ from Marshall. Well played, Karl.

I literally just started clicking on 10+ seeded teams on ESPN.com's bracket and I saw that this Elmore guy averaged over 20 a game...it jumped out at me. I gave no thought to who they were playing, what position this guy played, or anything else. I just got lucky. If they beat WVU, well then I'm over the moon.

Through Saturday's games:

After the Round of 32:

Logan lost two Tar Heels yesterday ( :( ), but he does have a 40-point edge on the field. We'll see if NTN, Karl, I, or B & B can make up ground with our extra players remaining. (I ticked my number back up to 4 because Haas's status sounds a little more day-to-day.)

Stupid UNC. And yeah, that's not holding up.

Its hilarious because I have the only 10+ seed guy left (LOYO CHI)

and went anti chalk as much as I could except for the one #1 seed guy I took

he had 2 pts and was somewhat responsible for the first ever #16 seed victory.

Looking at my players, I see I have 2 guys that have scored a lot and are on 2 potential final 4 teams.

After Thursday's games (not a lot of Top Gun players in actions):

Duke-Kansas featured a whopping 8 players, 4 from each team. Guess who was the indirect beneficiary of Malik Newman's 13-point OT...

It's Logan, who still has Jalen Brunson in play in addition to Newman, and thus a guaranteed representative in the title game.

The rundown for the rest of us:
NTN has DeVonte Graham, Karl has Mo Wagner, I have Donte DiVincenzo and Udoka Azubuike (give me the best team-of-names award), B & B has Clayton Custer (nice!), Bishop has Mikal Bridges, and Vince has Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk.

I don't think there's any catching Logan at this point, but positions 2 through 7 are certainly up for grabs.

I think I have a pretty firm grip on #7 :)

Malik Newman finishes with 108 points for Logan.

At this point, Logan still had Brunson, Karl still had Wagner, I still had DiVincenzo, and Bishop still had Bridges.

Aaand after the title game:


I slip ahead of Karl thanks to DiVincenzo's nutso 31 (not that I enjoyed it in real time), but can't quite catch NTN. Bridges' 19 helps Bishop past B & B for a median finish.
