Rudy T on his way out in Houston
This is a sad day in Rockets history. I think he's taking the fall for Cuttino's ball-hogging and the team's youth.
Apparently Jeff Van Gundy is the leading candidate to take over... (UGH!!!!!!!) Here's a link to the ESPN.com article. Here's a link to the article at the Rox fan site, Clutchcity.net. :( :( :( :( :( |
Man, no, this isn't cool! Rudy T is one of the best coaches in the league. Then again, his health is a concern and it might be better for both him and the team if he retires and gets his health in order. I hope my Rockets use some good sense replacing him.
Also, I seem to remember Franchise getting all uppity, saying he would leave if RudyT was fired. Good player, but I thought these little attitude tantrums were behind him. SI |
Maybe if you're lucky you'll get Lenny, and while you're at it take Hakeem back too.

I'm sure he turned into a bad coach overnight  Houston doesn't have the players to run with the big boys. Steve Francis is a good player, but he's not a superstar... |

Umm... you just did. |
