Brother Buccaneer- fuck cancer
 

Buccaneer, Steve passed away this week. He was diagnosed with cancer in October and it was aggressive and massive. While the decline was fast he was mostly pain free. He was surrounded by family and knew he was loved.

If you are so inclined raise a rum drink or send a prayer to our our resident curmudgeon-

So sorry for your families loss. I know he had a college age son. I can't imagine. I always enjoyed interacting with him and he seemed like a genuinely good guy.

To echo what Radii said, most of us don't really know each other, but this online community certainly is unique, and to lose one of our own hits hard.

I was trying to get together with him for a drink or just to say hey since we moved to the Springs back in April. Even have a now old text from him in August saying hit me up after Labor Day to do stuff. It just never worked out.

Wow, RIP Bucc. We are all getting old. Just had another friend pass away earlier this week as well.

RIP Bucc. I got to know him a bit when I took over the Outlaws over at IHOF many years ago. He was a genuinely good guy.

Wow,.what a tremendous loss. Bucc was always one of my favorite people here, even when he was being get off my lawn surly. It wouldn't ever take long to know in interaxtions with him that he had a distinctive personality and a keen mind and just a good dude all around.

I still don't understand why he changed his screen name to Anhrydeddu (sic) for that one stretch. Just a very unique and genuine individual whom I wish I had made a better effort to one day meet in person.

Condolences to his family. The image of Bucc I'll carry around in my head was the picture he posted once of himself up in the mountains with an old Jeep Wrangler. He looked so young and self-assured in that photo, and that was the way I always thought of him.

It's sweet to see some of the long absent names in here, and speaks of Bucc's spirit/character.
