When if at all is a new FOF game coming out on OOTP?

Well, that forum is a bit of a mess.

Short "saved you a click" version- the FOF developer is notorious for not really sharing much about progress, he just drops a new game when he things it's ready. Most of us agree this is counterproductive, and that it's bad for sales, etc - but that's a new trick and he's something of an old dog. So it goes.

Anyhow, even the announced partnership with OOTP hasn't changed much. No news, it seems. It will come out when it comes out.

Missing a football season, and then an NFL draft/FA cycle, seems like an obvious missed opportunity, but it's out of our hands.

It's sad/interesting/oddly sentimental to see the OOTP community go through all this for the first time. Except they're getting this refusal to engage in the context of this new developer and new game coming to their yard instead of with something they had a previous consumer relationship with. It's an odd choice to make an impression, but, like you said, it's out of our hands.
