I think buttercup has a point. And all he says is why don't we talk more about sports. About 4 or 5 sports threads on the first page out of about 40. And two of them are about soccer. But people here seem to be more interested in riduculing each other and talking about the spelling bee.

I thought this board was to talk about computer games and the sports invlolved. Right now, there are 15 topics on the front page involving sports/sports games.

And y do you have to start hatin on the pistons and the detroit teams thats no good.

I've been a Braves fan since the Dale Murphy days(i.e. my whole life)... otherwise i don't have favorite teams in other sports, i just like to watch.

I think Gold and Buttercup have a great point, creating your own alter ego and replying to your own posts is a great way to pass the time!

Well, I follow New Jersey and Chicago, and the D-Backs.

Chicago yeah, but New Jersey right now has two teams in the finals....and the d-backs are waiting for...........the all-star break.

Oh, and SD, you play bluegrass right?

I'm just asking b/c my dad does a Bluegrass service at church on mondays. And using that as a link, he usually does a concert or 2 a month, i think he pays for expenses and whatever $$$ is gotten from the people, and there are usually at least 30 people there. Not a huge number, but if you ever feel like coming up here to play, let me know.

As far as the music, I wouldn't call what I do full-fledged bluegrass. I definitely have a folksy/country edge to what I do though. GrantDawg and JonInMiddleGA have heard me live now and could give you more inf about how they perceive it, but I'd love to come up that way if you think it would word. What part of SC are you talking about? The Greenville area or elsewhere?
