I know it was never part of FOF but am curious if anyone was ever able to determine a means of controlling contracts in SP using historical rosters. Start a game in '83 and the cap and contract settings are good for the era. Some of the contracts are off and you incur some hefty penalties for releases that are high for the period but it hits when you offer contracts and the player wants 4-5+ times the settings rates. Resigning a player is fine, settings seem to hold.
