Familiars
 

Do familiars come from formation or play call?

Examples:
If I run a slant to my X receiver out of 6 different formations, will that get a familiar?
If I run 6 different running plays out of the 113 formation, will that get a familiar?
If my whole game plan is the 113 and 113t formation, and I never run the same play twice, will I get familiars?

I have seen one or two at the end of games, but I don't know why. They seem to come on plays I never called previously in the game, out of the formation they were run in when it got a familiar. I just want to understand the mechanics of when a team will become familiar with a play.

formation seems to e the iggest limiting factor...weirder the formation less plays allowed even if just running it once

113 plays you can run4 times each with no effect to my knowledge...
