Can I start a game in sandbox mode

Hello everyone. Can I start a game unemployed in Sandbox mode and watch the results sim out?

Also, can I watch the other games sim out in a Ten Minute ticker type update of other games while I am simming one?

You will still need to control one team, but you can set a lot of options to be done by the AI. I haven't played around with SP and that kind of play enough to give a full idea on what things you have to still manually do. (I'm presuming signing free agents, extending contracts and making the draft selections.)

Sort of. After a week is simmed, you can go into Solevision and "watch" a selected game, while the others are also played simultaneously, with scores visible. You have the option to switch games during watching. You can turn spoilers (hide results) mode on/off to be able to load Solevision without seeing results of your team first.

As I recall (from long ago) the one that eludes people most often is a setting something like "staff signs free agents" -- and if you select that option to Yes/On, then the in-game AI takes care of a pretty long list of things: cutdown to 53 total and 46 active, active/inactive/IR decisions, and so forth... except for very specific situations that is enough to put the team on autopilot for the entire season, if that's what you want.

Back when I would create SP data for number crunching, the only thing I did was re-sign my players with a future overall over 50. Everything else can be done by your staff. In the single player settings on the options page, set everything to on, and then you are good to go to skip everything else.
