I still visit just about every day, but get signed out whenever I switch devices, so often go weeks without logging in or posting.

It's become.. less and less. Instead of browsing the board and trying to hit every new thread to see what people are chatting about, I hit a few threads (ProWres, etcetera) and immediately go to other forums.

This describes my routine as well.

I stop by every few weeks and take a look around. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the forum software doesn't seem very...up to date? It isn't very mobile-friendly, and even on my laptop the "go to last unread post" function doesn't work correctly most of the time.

I do still spend time at the UTEP board, and the Astros and Debate & Discussion sections of the Houston Rockets board. Both board have much better functionality than ol' FOFC and are a better reading experience.

There has definitely been functionality problems for years. As you said, the "go to last read" is wonky. I use tapatalk on my phone for the board, and several threads will not open on it.

I do like one per week (used to be dozens per day in the past) but in general just check a few threads related to games, like the Steam one or for some specific ones. Sadly in general forums are something for old guys like us, in fact most of written content is. It's mainly about video now, that I usually don't have the patience to watch.

For the past year I started to use Reddit a lot, joining communities with common interests for my main hobbies (mainly games, guitar playing and some financial/investing ones) and along Facebook groups, it's my main online interaction now a days.

Reddit is a daily thing for me as well, though I'm only spotty in my interactions there. Still use twitter a good bit, and like bluesky but it needs more people. I have another code for that btw if anyone is interested.
