Could certainly be cross-posted to the drunk guy thread, but I made a party Pandora station for background music for some people over for NYE, and for what it’s worth, I am more convinced then ever that 80’s Madonna is the peak of pop music.

Anyway, Happy New Year, FOFC.

We get drunk Anderson Cooper again this year, so it has been a great NYE so far.

Arbitrary time markers are arbitrary. The past is the past. But the future is the future. You can’t change one, but you have some control over the other.

With, again, the caveat that this could be cross posted to the ping drunk guy, thread, think about life like quicksand thinks about building an FOF team. He asks a question about every guy on his roster. Why is this guy here? You can ask yourself the same thing about every decision in your life. Why are you doing it? What is the plan? What are you doing to make tomorrow Closer to some goal Than yesterday?

Had pork roast, greens, black eyed peas and cornbread prepared by my SIL. Got to spend NYE with my wife, parents and brother/SIL. Hopeful for a more uneventful 2024 compared to 2023.
