Bruce Arians 2015 Cardinals/2020Bucs Spread Offense Custom Playbook

Hey yall
I transcribed this playbook into fof9 from Bruce Arians cardinals 2015-2016 playbook. Arians has a heavy focus on the pass game built on spread/vertical concepts. He makes extensive use of the trips formation. He also uses the slot reciever role (R reciever in Fof9) more than other playbooks, so personnel-wise, make sure your slot reciever is good. He's probably more important than the X reciever in this playbook

For success with this playbook an excellent pocket passing QB (ie Kurt Warner / Tom Brady archetype) is needed. Ideally he will have very high Confidence rating in order to hit the deep shot whenever its available, which is a big part of Arians philosophy. A big arm doesnt hurt either. He'll also need excellent pocket presence (sense rush) because he will be dropping back many times a game and defenses will key in on the pass game.

Naturally, the focus on the Offensive line should be Pass protection over run blocking.

A poor QB (+poor pass blocking OLine) in this offense will get sacked often and turn the ball over frequently due to the demands it places on the QB to drop back, stand in the pocket and deliver deep shots.

TLDR This is a Bruce Arians playbook. He likes to throws the ball alot, and deep. Use this with an excellent pocket passer QB and pass blocking OLine

QB Requirements: You’ll need a confident, pocket-passing QB with good Sense Rush and ideally a big arm, like a Kurt Warner/Tom Brady type, to deliver deep shots effectively.
Slot Receiver Priority: Arians emphasizes the slot receiver (R Receiver in FoF9), so ensure this player is quick, with strong Route Running and Hands to get open consistently.
Pass Protection Focus: Prioritize Pass Blocking on your O-line. The QB will drop back often and needs time to execute Arians' vertical concepts without getting sacked.
Personnel Tips: Trips formations require multiple solid receiving threats, and a good receiving tight end can be valuable.
Risk Management: If your QB or O-line struggles, consider more short passes to avoid sacks and turnovers.

Just wanted to say really appreciate you taking the time to make these playbooks and posting them here, went through and downloaded all of them and have been using this BruceArians Playbook the most, been fun pairing this playbook with a stud QB & WR.
