Need to trade holdout
 

I'm pretty cash strapped, and would like to trade a player who is holding out. I went to the trade screen and the player wasn't there, even though he's been with my team for several years. I assume glitch, but thought I would inquire here first before going back to a earlier save.

I've run into it too. I don't know if it's a 'glitch' or a 'feature' but I don't like it.

What’s made it worse is the game has just signed the guy to an extension to end the holdout, when I’ve not got any roster management tickboxes checked: he’s not worth what he’s asking for and I wanted to let him walk.

Fortunately I’d saved after the previous game, and it hasn’t happened on the restart, but I’m not sure how it was able to be done, as I didn’t have enough cap room, but the cap remained unchanged and no players were released.

He eventually ended the holdout, so I guess it ended up being okay
