Beta is available. Game drops Friday.

I have been a Steam buyer for the past few years, and that won't change for v27. So much more convenient in getting the release download, then updates, and mods in the workshop. Only advantage, to me, to getting the beta three days early is being able to look around and check old, and build new views and filters. It's a good way to spend three days waiting for the release version, but not enough to forego the advantages of Steam. IMHO.
