The one thing that strikes me here is the phrase "catching lightning in a bottle".
That's what you did, IMO, with the original dynasty: produce the single finest dynasty thread in FOFC history.
My worry would be that you might find yourself disappointed with this one, no matter how it turns out. You may have simply set the bar too high the first time.
That said, if you believe you'd enjoy a redux, then I'd immediately say "Go for it", you sure as heck earned that right with the outstanding job on the first one.
