Matt Allen disappointed me by committing to Tennessee today. I guess he wanted to stay closer to home. Oh well, we got 5 guys that we targeted as early recruits. Not too bad.

We are now done in-season recruiting and just need to focus on beating UCLA. We are 9-2. They are 3-8. It should be an easy win on paper, but you never know against UCLA.

First let's look across the nation:

Mark Bonds of Western Michigan won the Player of the Week for 6 TD's on 20 carries and 93 yards in a 52-7 win over the Zips.

Quinton Culberson of Mississippi State won Defensive Player of the Week for a 6 tackles and 3 interceptions against Mississippi in a 28-20 win.

Top 10 of the Top 25 polls:

1. Oklahoma 12-0
2. Louisville 11-0
3. West Virginia 10-1
4. Auburn 11-1
5. Michigan 10-2
6. Texas Tech 11-1
7. Arizona State 11-1
8. USC 9-2
9. Alabama 10-2
10. Iowa 10-2

ND dropped to 13th (from 5th) after the loss to us.

Bowl Projections as of right now:

National Championship: Louisville vs Oklahoma

Fiesta Bowl: West Virginia vs Boise State

Sugar Bowl: Auburn vs USC.

Rose Bowl: Michigan vs Arizona State

Orange Bowl: Georgia Tech vs Texas Tech.

I'll probably play the UCLA game a bit later tonight.
