In week 3, we did a bit better.

We got Edward Porter, a 6'5 199 pound 4 star S/Athlete. We also signed John Seward, a 5'11 201 pounds 3 star FB. Finally, we got David Tuiasosopo, a 6'0 228 pound 3 star MLB.

Edward was ranked 60th in the nation overall. He runs a 4'32 in the 40. He benches over 370 pounds and squats over 500 poinds. He has good hands and good field awareness. He is from Santee, CA.

John is ranked 354th in the nation. He runs a 4.60 in the 40. He benches almost 400 pounds and squats over 600. He has good hands and good field awareness, but he was really a signing of desperation because our scouts don't think he will get much better. However, we need a backup FB and he is much better than what we would get via a walk on. He is from Novato, CA.

David is ranked 412th overall in the nation. He runs a 4.55 40. He squats over 700 pounds. He has poor hands, but is a ferocious hitter. He also fills a definite need for a backup. He is from Beverly Hills, CA.

Week 4 was a good week.

Jeff Nicholson, a 5'10 189lb 4 star WR signed with us. Paul Guillory, a 5'11 205 pound 4 star MLB signed with us. Donnie Dean, a 6'1 180 pound 3 star WR also signed with us.

Jeff Nicholson is from Westminster, CA. He runs a 4.44 in the 40. He has a 40" vertical and very good hands. He is ranked 237th in the nation.

Paul is ranked 189th in the nation. He is from Florence-Graham, CA. He runs a 4.51 in the 40. He squats almost 700 pounds. He has decent hands and is a hard tackler.

Donniue Dean is ranked 382nd in the nation. He is from Turlock, CA. He runs a 4.28 in the 40. He has excellent hands too, but needs to work on his field awareness.

Most of my other targets went to other teams, and I still have 11 scholarships available..
