Yeah, I think promoting Thomas to the #2 CB is really going to help my defense..
I don't remember the exact numbers but Harris had a pursuit in the 50's and a low tackling which led to some of the long TD's on big YAC's. Also, despite having superior speed, agility, and strength, he only had man coverage rating in the low 70's and zone coverage in the low 80's. However, he had an overall of 88 and I started him.
Thomas had an overall of 87 and he didn't have quite as good of speed (it's 91 I think compared to Harris who has 98) but he has 93 M2M coverage and 95 Zone coverage rating as well as 75ish pursuit rating. I think that made a big difference in the 2nd half and will be a huge factor against better teams later in the year. I just wish I made this change sooner, but better late than never.
Pinkard's M2M and Zone are both around 97. Like I said, I'm dreading when Pinkard and Thomas graduate at the end of this year.
