After watching a week of practice, I've decided to promote Kevin Thomas to the Nickel back. Cary Harris drops from starting CB to our dime back.
We force a 3 and out with good pass defense after stuffing the HB on 2nd down and 4.
We put together a great drive thanks to converting a 4th and 1 on the 40. We end it with a 4 yard TD pass to our backup TE out of a 2 TE set. 7-0.
After exchanged failed drives, Thomas the new starting CB, makes a great interception.
Danelo hits a 46 yard FG to make it 10-0.
After multiple great defensive drives, they beat Pinkard deep and he misses a tackle and they make it 10-6 with 3:20 left in the half. We blocked the XP.
The very first play of our next drive, we call a PA pass. Dean uses his phenomenal speed on a fly route. Booty throws it 50 yards and hits Dean in perfect stride for an 80 yard TD pass! 17-6.
A balanced drive ends in a short TD run. 17-13. Their QB had a few big runs on that drive as he is breaking down our spy scheme.
Booty throws his second pick of the half as the clock is winding down in the half.
Halftime: 17-13 lead for us.
Boort is 10 of 17 for 129 yards with 2 TD's 2 INT's at the half.
Dixon is 10 of 15 for 148 yards with 1 TD 1 INT at the half. Both of us have most of our yards on 1 big pass play.

Good pass defense forces a 3 and out.
They blitz on our first pass and Booty quickly throws it to Fred Davis. Davis bounces off a defender, stiff arms another defender and runs it 49 yards for a TD!!!! 27-26.

We drive inside the 20, but Booty throws yet another pick in the endzone. His worst game ever dooms our championship season.
Game over. 35-27 loss.
Dixon had 87 speed, and a 90 arm. Great plays from him all day doomed us.
