Because the more information we have as a village, the better.
I'm a little confused as to why you think you should be one of the only one's to not reveal something.
You are not the most likely target of the cowboys, unless there's more you aren't telling us. Numerous people have stated they don't have guns, yet there's still been only been one showdown; one that everyone asked for and resulted in the death of a cowboy.
Why do I care? Because not revealing is very suspicious and is going to make you a likely candidate for jailing tonight if you continue to only care about your own hide instead of the village.
