Quarterbacks
Code:
Manning, Eli 10 QB 4 68 70 1 yr. Lorenzen, Jared 12 QB 2 11 35 1 yr. Hasselbeck, Tim 8 QB 5 9 35 2 yrs

Manning leads the offense again, but I really hope he doesn't get hurt. Not much in way of viable backups in the FA pool.

Running Backs
Code:
Barber, Tiki 21 RB 11 59 59 2 yrs Jacobs, Brandon 27 RB 3 36 40 2 yrs Morton, Chad 29 RB 8 25 34 3 yrs Finn, Jim 20 FB 8 45 45 3 yrs Gordon, Stanley 44 FB 1 23 43 3 yrs

Barber returns for another season. He ran for 1322 yards and 13 TDs last season.

Gordon looks like he could become a decent blocking FB. Finn has the starting role for now, but he has terrible blocking attributes. I may just stick Gordon in there at some point being as I don't use the FB in my offense.

Receivers
Code:
Shockey, Jeremy 80 TE 6 72 72 5 yrs Ellison, Shaun 82 TE 1 17 44 1 yr. Toomer, Amani 81 FL 12 44 44 2 yrs Moss, Sinorice 83 FL 2 26 31 3 yrs Gentile, Sherman 89 FL 1 23 50 3 yrs Diaz-Infante, Donovan 16 FL 1 22 46 1 yr. Britton, Greg 87 SE 1 40 59 4 yrs Carter, Tim 84 SE 6 35 41 1 yr.

Shockey starts at TE.

Toomer starts at FL. Gentile looks like he could become a decent backup, but also has good return attributes. Diaz-Infante also looks like he could be a decent backup.

Greg Britton will start at SE. He already has 100 3rd Down catching, 96 Big-Play Receiving, 100 Endurance and pretty good potential (50-80) in other attributes. Carter will back him up but I'll be giving him plenty of playing time.

Offensive Line

Code:
O'Hara, Shaun 60 C 8 48 48 3 yrs Neal, Marcus 52 C 1 25 46 1 yr. Seubert, Rich 69 LG 6 36 45 3 yrs Offutt, Jeremy 63 LG 1 22 44 1 yr. Diehl, David 66 LG 5 14 14 5 yrs Snee, Chris 76 RG 4 59 59 2 yrs Schlegel, James 75 RG 1 51 67 4 yrs Whimper, Guy 79 LT 2 53 67 3 yrs McKenzie, Kareem 67 RT 7 45 45 5 yrs Settle, Morris 70 RT 1 16 49 3 yrs

O'Hara starts at Center
Snee and 1st Round pick Schlegel will start at Guard.
Whimper and McKenzie start at Tackle. Settle (7th Round) might take over for McKenzie in a year or two. Not as good (potential) run blocking, but better (potential) pass blocking.

Defensive Line
Code:
Strahan, Michael 92 LDE 15 76 76 2 yrs Cruz, Joey 77 LDE 1 21 38 1 yr. Tuck, Justin 91 LDE 3 10 36 2 yrs Umenyiora, Osi 72 RDE 5 62 62 6 yrs Kiwanuka, Mathias 97 RDE 2 41 54 4 yrs Cofield, Barry 96 LDT 2 51 65 3 yrs Robbins, Fred 98 LDT 8 40 40 3 yrs Williams, Tony 73 RDT 10 56 56 3 yrs Joseph, William 94 RDT 5 21 23 3 yrs

Strahan and Umenyiora start at DE. Kiwanuka backs them both up as Tuck and Cruz both suck. Kiwanuka has an extreme conflict with Antonio Pierce.

Williams and Cofield start at DT, and will completely shut down the run (Williams 83 Run Defense, Cofield 68/98 Run Defense). Cofield has a conflict with Antonio Pierce.

I might have to look for a new defensive leader...

Linebackers

Code:
Pierce, Antonio 58 MLB 7 57 57 4 yrs Mattox, Robbie 56 MLB 1 25 40 1 yr. Woods, Walter 59 MLB 1 20 53 1 yr. Arrington, LaVar 55 SLB 8 61 61 6 yrs June, Cato 95 WLB 5 76 76 5 yrs Short, Brandon 54 WLB 8 43 43 3 yrs Emmons, Carlos 51 WLB 12 42 42 2 yrs

Pierce will start, but Walter Woods, an undrafted rookie, has good potential in the right spots (Run Defense, Pass Rush Tech, Man-To-Man, Play Diagnosis). He also has very high volatility (93). He might breakout or breakdown. Mattox is another undrafted rookie, has good potential as a decent backup, but he has low Run Defense so he'll never start at MLB for me.

Arrington and June will start at OLB. Both are good against the Run (June: 70, Arrington: 82). Both are also very good pass rushers (June: 100 Tech, 100 Str; Arrington 60 Tech, 72 Str). My only concern is Arrington is a red-flag player...

Defensive Backs
Code:
McQuarters, R.W. 25 LCB 10 27 27 2 yrs Webster, Corey 23 LCB 3 27 38 3 yrs Allman, Rex 43 LCB 1 26 55 4 yrs Madison, Sam 22 RCB 11 69 69 3 yrs McPhearson, Gerrick 38 RCB 2 23 43 3 yrs Poston, Riddick 42 RCB 1 18 36 1 yr. Wilson, Gibril 28 SS 4 57 60 4 yrs Bell, Jason 33 SS 7 26 26 1 yr. Demps, Will 47 FS 6 69 69 3 yrs Butler, James 37 FS 3 28 36 1 yr. Norton, Danny 39 FS 1 20 32 1 yr.

Madison will be put on the top rec. of the opposing team. McPhearson will probably start opposite of him, with Rex Allman getting a lot of playing time. The major problem is that other than Madison, all my CBs suck at Run Defense.

Both Demps and Wilson are better at zone than man (Wilson is still pretty good in Man defense) so I'll be running mostly 2-Deep Loose Man and 1-Deep Loose Man.

Kicker/Punter
Code:
Benson, Maurice 18 P 1 60 77 3 yrs Feely, Jay 2 K 7 82 82 3 yrs

Feely gets a contract extension and will kick for us once again. Sure glad FOF Feely is a good kicker, unlike his real-life counterpart. Benson does look like he'll be a great punter. His hang time current is low (25), but potentially 68, and everything else is high (Power 78, Directional 55/90, Kick Holding 76)
