I've haven't watched wrestling in probably over a year now, but that is the kind of stuff that can bring me back: booking that makes sense.
This conflict works with the personalities that the two wrestlers already have; it provides a reason for the two guys to dislike each other; and it gives texture to the feud that both distinguishes it from other feuds and can go in several different directions. Most importantly, it fits my cardinal rule for booking: "Based on their history and personality, I can understand why those two characters are acting this way."
When you see booking done well, it seems so simple that you wonder why so many people screw it up.
