Getting back to the judge vote I don't think the mafia would seriously make an effort to get elected at this stage, as it's going to make them too obvious a target for a seer. The only worry I have is that if the only seer roles are the detectives who require the judge's co-operation to perform any checks. If that were the case then the judge would be able to make himself invulnerable to checks.
I think it much more likely that the mafia will try and sabotage the voting as much as possible so we don't have a judge and so the detectives can't do much investigating. This also means that the judge becomes a pretty obvious target once he is elected.
I think a judge vote at this stage is every bit as important as a lynch vote and any non-vote just as suspicious. Do people think that we should make our judge votes public?
