Here's my point. Day four, yeah I agree with you because there's some info out there and maybe a hint isn't gonna cut it.
But day one, you pay attention to hints like that and give the person giving the hint the benefit of the doubt rather than lynch a good guy with no info.
There's plenty of time to have the story checked out. Err on the side of caution day 1. Otherwise we risk losing someone valuable. Like we just did.
