I figure I haven't had any issues with running out of energy. Right now I have 26 Energy Potions and can count on one hand the number of times where I have even felt like my energy was low. Not a problem yet in the game. That leaves me with 35K, or an amount low enough that I won't be able to afford something cool next time I hit the stores.
It isn't long after the return to the caves that I hit Level 13. I've been neglecting my wolf since getting the Nymph, so I spend a point on Maul (10 more damage per attack) and the other two points on Nature Magic - next level I'll have four new spells available. Attributes go to Strength and Intelligence.

OK, I have no idea what bumped my speed ratings by 10% - maybe something with hitting level 13? I don't see an item that should be doing this.
