Stars of the Future - a TCY/FOF dynasty

This will be a new dynasty along the lines of my last one, Run and Gun. This time I decided to break up the positions a bit, we'll have a couple of running backs, a great looking wide receiver, a QB, and a sharp looking DE. Will they find success in the college ranks and in the NFL?

Our players in the 2004 college recruiting season:

Joe Coffin, 6'4” 212 Wide Receiver – Covington, KY

Joe has the size already to be a great receiver, and he is the second ranked high school player in all the land. His high school has great prep, and he is best at yardage after the catch. Even our lousy scout reports he is 70/100, and he is probably better than that. He values Team Prestige and Academics, though he is struggling in school right now and his test score is marginal. So far in high school ball he has 855 receiving yards in 4 games.

How good is Joe? The next best receiver is ranked #55 in the country. It's fairly rare in my experience to see a WR ranked so highly, so it should be interesting to see what he can do.

Antoine Syvrud, 6'2” 241 Defensive End – Lynnwood, WA

Antoine is the fourth ranked player this year, and looks to be a dominant pass rusher. He has good grades, values academics and prestige, and our Terrific scout ranks him at 94/100, with a strength in rushing the passer. So far in high school ball, in 4 games he has 42 tackles and 6.5 sacks. He looks like he will be a force in college.

Eric Quinones, 6'1” 217 Running Back – Kirbyville, TX

Eric is the 7th ranked high school player in the country. He's an excellent back with a knack for a burst to gain extra yardage. Our excellent scout rates him 90/100. Eric is really focused on a solid athletic school and wants to stay close to home. Obviously the Texas colleges will be all over him. In high school ball, in four games he has 127 carries for 954 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Kevin Linquist, 5'11” 188 Running Back – Oakwood, GA

Kevin is the 8th ranked high school player in the country, following Eric closely. Our excellent scout ranks him at 84/100, and says that he's a great breakaway runner. Kevin has excellent grades and wants a good academic school that's not too far away. In high school ball in four games he has 111 carries for 795 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Lamont Nowell, 6'5” 214 Quarterback – Fredericksburg, TX

Lamont is the tenth ranked player in the country and the best quarterback. This year is particularly weak for quarterbacks, as there are only three ranked in the top 50, so Lamont may see some heavy competition. Our excellent scout rates him at 75/100. He wants a great academic school and in fact he's made it known that he idolizes Texas. In high school ball in four games he's passed for 465 yards and four touchdowns, and has rushed for 584 yards and 8 touchdowns.
