NFL Players

Erik Quinones, RB – New Orleans

Erik had a solid opening year for the Saints. He started every game, and finished with 279 carries for 1170 yards, with 5 touchdowns. New Orleans is a terrible team, finishing 2-14 this year, and they were often getting blown out, which limited his carries, With a better team he could have put up some really outstanding numbers.

Kevin Linquist, RB – San Francisco

Kevin fit into the role I imagined, backup and platoon back for the 49ers main runner, Cary Weese. Weese had a dominant 1600+ yard season this year, and Kevin got some runs as well, finishing with 111 carries for 448 yards and 2 touchdowns. The 49ers were the second best running team in the league this year, so it's a good way for Kevin to get some quality carries and try to develop a bit more.

College Players

Joe Coffin, WR - Miami

Joe had his best year, and won his first award, but he was still disappointed in his performance. He had 55 catches for 960 yards and 8 touchdowns, and was named ACC 1st Team Wide Receiver. With disappointing stats every year, he's anxious to put college behind him and make the move to the NFL.

Final stats:

Antoine Syvrud, DE - Texas

Antoine was sidelined by a hip pointer at the end of the season but otherwise was as good as ever, finishing the year with 15 sacks, 49 tackles, 20 assists, and of course was named B12 1st Team Defensive End. Four straight years of that trophy. It's no question that the NFL scouts are all over him. He is second in total career sacks, missing the record by one.

His final stats:

Lamont Nowell, QB – Texas

Lamont was definitely the third backup this year, as Jackie Devine got hurt, but he still never got to play. He had 7 of 11 passes this year for 63 yards.

Here are his final stats, such as they are. He never started a game.
