NEWS
-As I stated in the show recap above, Magic Dragon is out. It was a tough decision, but he's the odd-man out because of a number of factors: He's not involved in any current storylines, he works for two other companies, he has a relatively short time left on his contract (4 months), and he's no spring chicken for a "prospect" (27 years old). That will be the end of the cuts for now, at least until we get through the Texas Rumble Show.
-Villano III is again exhausted following the show. The ratings he's generating are even more unbelievable considering his current schedule. I'm tempted to "declare war" on his other company, CMA in Mexico, just to see if that will make him leave them.
-WCCW is advertising the following matches for "Texas Rumble" next Saturday night:
30-Man "Texas Rumble" (This is the Royal Rumble before the Royale Rumble Existed)
WCCW American & Texas Heavyweight Championship Match
David Von Erich v. Bob Backlund
Chris Adams v. Iceman Parsons
