Overall Show Rating: C+

THOUGHTS:

-This was a disappointing show on a few different levels. Texas popularity decreases slightly from 65.8% to 65.7%

-The main event was very disappointing - Gino, Backlund, and David have all been involved in an A or A+ match recently. It's odd to think of Kerry as the weak link, but that what he seemed to be in this match. Kerry has had an odd run in the dynasty thus far. He started off as a main eventer, had that brief confrontation with David at the King of Texas Wrestling Tournament, was out injured for a while, and really hasn't done too much since he came back. Obviously, he hasn't been a part of any big feuds (he would have had a big role in the Freebirds v. Von Erichs feud if Gordy hadn't left), but he hasn't exactly stood out either. I'm starting to think if a Kerry heel turn might make sense.

-Roddy Piper's debut promo was also somewhat disappointing, but I guess it's important to remember that he doesn't have huge governess in Texas just yet. He'll just need a little time.

-The tag belts are on the verge of being unified, but I can't do it at Thanksgiving Star Wars because Roberts already has a match scheduled with Kevin. So I'm advertising Hayes/Garvin v. Mike/Morton for the WWA belts at the Thanksgiving show.
