I screwed up and lost a long game summary, but the brief version is this:
Today, we played Stanford at home with a big time WR visiting. I wanted to emphasize the passing game and Corp came out on fire in the first half. He played so well all game long that I never put Cole in the game. Stanford's pass offense was surprisingly effective with a lack of quality WR's, but a senior veteran QB that was very smart. In fact, he didn't thorw a pick all game long, a first for this game in a long time, until the very end of the game when he threw a desperation pass towards the endzone. Corp's high efficiency led us to an easy win.
42-19 was the final score.
Corp: 27 of 36 for 273 yards with 5 TD's 1 INT.
Corp also ran it 8 times for 51 yards and a TD.
Edwards: 28 carries for 119 yards.
4 receviers had at least 1 TD: Timbers, Cornelius Johnson, Ronald Jognson, and Terrance Franklin.
Ronald Johnson had 5 catches for 50 yards with 2 TD's.
Cornelius Johnson had 5 catches for 55 yards and a TD.
Edwards had 5 catches for 66 yards.
Burrell: 12 tackles, 4 for a loss.
Griffen had 1 sack early in the game which set an all time USC record.
Our lone pick at the end of the game was by Marshall Jones.
Stanford's Senior QB Kellen Kiilsgaard: 23 of 35 for 292 yards with 2 TD's 1 INT played very well.
Chike Amajoyi: 25 carries for 39 yards.
