With the UCLA-Xavier game becoming a blowout, it's time to get another game in before UNC-Louisville.
With the home crowd supporting us, I'm going to try to outrun and gun Fairfield.
We are down 16-14 at the 10 minute mark when all of my starters except Simon leave the game to rest.
At halftime, we are up 28-27 thanks to balanced scoring.
Graves has 9, Snow has 9, and Simon has 6.
Graves is the player of the half with 9 points, 2 assists, 1 board. He has shot 3 of 9 all of them 3 pointers.
The 1st minute of the 2nd half, Graves gets a 3rd on Aladi, their star center.
From the 16 to 12 minute mark, we go ice cold. They build a 44-35 lead.
Our subs can't close the gap and it ust gets worse. We fall behind 49-35.
That margin continues throughout the game. We lose 69-54.
Ubaka, their SG, was the player of the game with 14 points, 4 boards, and 3 assists.
Everett had 3 points, 2 boards, 7 assists, and 5 steals, along with 4 turnovers. He shot 1 of 8.

Bad news on the recruiting front. A PF that would have been a huge player for us, Whitney Cornette, is now being pursued by UConn

I don't like our chances against them. We came so close to getting him to sign early, too.
Our other scholarship offer, T.J. Hannan a 6'7 SF with skills is now favoring Rutgers over us
In our simulated game, we upset 13-6 Rider! We win 82-67! Snow led the way with 19 points and 3 assists. Simon had 12 points, 8 boards, and 2 blocks. Everett had 9 points, 3 assists, and a steal. Graves had 8 points, 8 boards, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Collins had 3 points and 6 boards.
Our next game is at 7-14 Iona. I'll play that later tonight.
