2040 Postseason Narrative

Divisional Playoff: San Francisco (11-6) at Tampa Bay (13-3)

Oh, great, we draw the defending champs here. Swell. They once again don’t make mistakes – but we get a surprisingly good game from RB Freddie Emerson (including 3 TD rushes) and we put them away fairly comfortably, 27-17.

Conference Championship: Tampa Bay (14-3) at Washington (14-3)

Redskins put it all together this season, but we are favored, largely on the passing game advantages. We cannot get a ground game going at all, and the Redskins take advantage of field position to grind out their own 27-17 win, and send us home after our fifth straight appearance in the conference championship game.

The Redskins win it all, 34-17 over the Colts.

CB Bill Soto is only named second team CB – losing out to guys with a lot of interceptions. Tough to complain all that much, I guess. Nobody else gets a mention.

My last AP were spent renegotiating WRs Timothy Montgomery and Patrick Phillips, trying to keep our stable there strong and deep.
