Did any of you look at the histories of those players that are over 23? I have looked at the 25 year old closer my team drafted, and he was created by the game in 1962, was released from his college team in 1963, and has spent the rest of his life in limbo waiting to be drafted. I'm sure that is what happened to every player that was over the age limits. It's a conversion/not having a draft issue that was bound to happen given OOTP's quirks.

I'd expect it to happen until all those players are either drafted or retire.
