I actually don't have a DVD kit, so that isn't the issue.

I called EASports and what a surprise, they aren't helpful. Their conclusion is that the problem is my xbox hard drive. Microsoft's conclusion is that something is wrong with the game. The result is that neither party will take the blame.

I'm going to try Fritz's cleaning suggestion, but other than that I may be screwed.

Thanks for the help. I'll let you know if the cleaning kit makes a difference.
