TRADE

Our defense is really killing us. Unfortunately, the Nash trade did nothing but hurt us in this regard. What I need is a guy who will get assists but also be able to play defense.

So with that, I'm going to try and trade Nash for a team that needs offense and has a more all-around PG.

The Pistons look like a great match. They have a winning record so they can afford to go after an older player, they are in the bottom half of the league in scoring, and they have three very good point guards in Jason Kidd, Kirk Hinrich, and Mike Bibby.

I think this is a great time for a three-way trade.

Here is an initial offer.

We send Steve Nash to the Spurs, the Pistons send us Kirk Hinrich, and the Spurs send the Pistons Shelden Williams and Luke Ridnour.

It's accepted!
