Our next game is against a weak UL-Lafayette team.. My AD made us a nice schedule this year
We beat them 81-72. Lamptey led us with 16 points, 10 boards, and a block.
Next up is a solid 6-3 VCU team. We beat them 77-73 despite Lamptey fouling out in only 15 minutes. Bowman led us with 18 points and 7 assists.
Our next game is a very weak 8-8 Texas-Pan American Team. We beat them 88-48. Lamptey with 21 and 8.
Our next game is at George Washington. They are 10-2 and one of the strongest teams in the country. They are ranked #15. We lose 83-69. Lamptey fouled out in 21 minutes.
Our last OOC game is against 3-8 Navy. I really have to be thankful for this very easy 1st year schedule which I didn't touch (or even look at.) We beat them 87-52. Lamptey with 14 points, 4 boards, and 4 blocks.
We go into conference play with a 13-2 record. Much better than I was expecting considering the team didn't get 13 wins all of last year.
