15:03: First minute Pardon posted up his smaller defender, leading to a double team which lead to a Sockwell slam. They countered with the quicker Konate slashing past Pardon for a layup. After that, they played Pardon better in the post and we slowed down Konate. Chancler and Sockwell became our leading scorers after that. We are up 13-11.

10:55: We are down 21-19. Both teams have been pushing the pace. I rest my tired starters.

5:04: We are down 33-31 as our starters return. Goodman provided most of the offense during that stretch.

They had a 12-0 run but Sockwell eventually broke it with a 10 footer and then a dunk on a fast break. We are down down 48-36 at the half.

Ramlow is the player of the half with 12 points on 4 of 8 shooting from the arc.

15 minute mark: We've gotten careless with the ball and they are on a big run. 60-42. I call a timeout and scream at the guys to play some defense.

10:58: We've played great defense since that timeout. We are down 61-52. My starters are now very tired so the 2nd unit comes in.

5:42: Hicks hits a 3, Goodman with a steal and a dunk and we are within 4. However, they have a 8-0 run after Sutton turns it over, Goodman turns it over, Goodman misses a 3, and Goodman misses a layup. We get back on track but we are now down 74-63 as our starters return. Konate had 12 points for them during that run and is now the leading scorer with 24.

Sockwell is scoring every time down the stretch, but they are hitting all of their shots too including several 3's from Ramlow and Messy of all people. They hit their FT's down the stretch when we intentionally foul.

We close within 6 several times, but we lose the game 89-81.

Konate was the player of the game with 26 points, 2 boards, and 3 assists.

Sockwell had 35 points, 9 boards, and 2 blocks for us. He shot 14 of 23, 0 of 0, and 7 of 7.

Singleton with 2 points, 10 assists (several were passes to Sockwell on the break that he slammed), and 2 steals. He shot 1 of 9.

Chancler with 16 points, 2 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. He shot 6 of 13.

Pardon with 2 points, 6 boards, 4 assists, and 2 steals. He shot 1 of 7.

Gardner with 3 points, 9 boards, and a block.

Goodman led the bench with 13 points, 3 boards, 3 assists, and 2 steals. He shot 4 of 11, 1 of 3, and 4 of 4 in 12 minutes.
