The loss to DePaul drops us to 16th in the media poll and 22nd in the coaches' poll. We are off this week for Christmas break and most of next week before we play Yale at our place. That should be an easy win as their overall roster strength is 70.

We are having Leslie Wright visit during the week of our Yale game.

Niagara is doing well. They are 9-3 and 2-0 in MAAC play. This is despite starting 3 freshman. However, Christopher's assists are way down at 2.8 per game and his scoring is only moderately up at 11 ppg.

The Tim Floyd watch continues. His USC squad is 9-2 so far this year. They have a roster that compares favorably to ours and they are starting 2 talented freshmen and 1 very talented sophomore. That 9th win gave Floyd his 600th win.

I definitely won't jump to any job but USC for the next year or two as Floyd must surely be about ready to hang it up and the game will never allow you to go just 1 year after you take a job.
