I make an offer for G Alvin Stokes. The irony is that I drafted Alvin in my first year, traded him after two years of starts, but my changing scout eval make him much better than what I gave up. Let’s see if I can bring him back home.
I also make offers to TE Bubba Franks and DE Shaun Ellis.
Week 1 - Sam Madison signed with Miami and Alvin Stokes resigns with us.
Week 2 -Bubba Franks and Shaun Ellis resign with their previous teams. Ikc, lost them both. I make an offer to Ray Lewis for a permanent gig. He is not as expensive as I would have thought. I also make an offer to DE Ebenezer Ekuban.
Week 4 - FB Fred Beasley signs with the Jets. Ray Lewis signs with us.
Week 6 - TE David Lefleur signs with Cincy. Ekuban signed with Dallas.
I trade C John Wade to the Vikings for their 4(1) pick. Wade was not interested is resigning with us, and now I can use the cleared salary to chase a starter.
I make an offer to C JC Poole.
Week 7 - JC Poole signs with us.
Week 18 - I find a good LB in the crop, he was a free agent last year, dropped after being a 3rd rounder as a rookie. I offer LB Bart Zambrano a 2 year deal.
I cut OT Melvin Gadsen and make an offer to OT Bob Turney for a 3 year deal as a backup with green future potential.
Week 19 - They both sign.
