Central Michigan is 2-14 and rated 70 overall:

Jan 14, 2018

at Ohio 80
C. Michigan 62

Jimenez with 16, Grundy 14, Santiago just 9.

This must be when the RPI reset, the polls look like they did too... we just jumped from out of the polls to #20.

Kansas takes over #1 in the nation from Clemson, Clemson is 20-1 though. Still no UNC or Duke in there.

Marist jumps up to #19 in the nation, and we are #20. That's in the media poll. The coaches hate Ohio. Marist #24, we are unranked.

Mid-major poll:

1. Marist (16-3)
2. Ohio (15-3)
3. VCU (16-4)
4. Gonzaga (13-3)
5. Detroit (14-3)

No other MAC teams appear anymore.

RPI update:

The MAC is the #14 ranked conference in the nation. Last year when we got 3 bids to the dance we were #9.

We have the 15th rated RPI. That will surely go down. While we did manage 6 games vs top 100 teams(as of this point) in that non-conference schedule, we were 1-2 vs the top 50 and 2-1 vs 51-100. We're 12-0 vs 100+. But the MAC doesn't have anyone in the top 100, and more teams than usual 200+. Hell, Buffalo is #295 and Central Michigan #309, ouch!

If I had to guess right now I'd peg us for anywhere between a 4-7 seed depending on how many crappy losses we pick up in simmed contests and how far our RPI dips. I'd really like to get a 6 seed or better, to avoid having to play a 2 seed to make the sweet 16. But that's a long ways off still obviously.

next we play a Bowling Green squad rated 78 OVR with the only other guy in the league rated over 80, center Ferdinand Whitehead, he scored 20+ on me last year. After that, Ball State, then we sim a ton.
