Maybe this can be a reverse of the NC State situation. We killed NC State at home but lost at their place. Clemson embarrassed us in Littlejohn but perhaps we can get a win on our home court. Freshman Darren Bookout hurt us badly in the first meeting, going 5-7 from 3 and scoring 23. But he's not their first option and hopefully we keep him cooled off today.

SG Darren Bookout – FR – 83 OVR – 89 speed/85 quickness. 91 defense/83 steals, amazing for a freshman. 89 close/80 med/79 3/89 in traffic. His shooting tendencies are weak so he won't shoot unless wide open most likely. 5.7 ppg but killed us in the first meeting.
SF WM Lalugba – SR – 89 OVR – 6'5” SF – 86 speed/89 quickness. 81 defense/82 steals. 88 close/89 med/76 3/87 in traffic. Solid awareness, 80 on offense/72 defense. 96(A+) vertical, 92 rated dunker. 15.7 ppg/6.2 rpg
PF Jim Vitelli – JR – 89 OVR – 6'9” PF – 92 orb/87 drb. 83 post off/85 post def. 82 blocks (B+), 80 steals(A-). 85 close/78 med/72 3/93 in traffic...84 off the dribble heh. Coach on the floor, 83 off/80 def awareness. 83 vert/81 str/78 hustle, a solid athlete. 9.1 ppg/4.9 rpg
C Joaquim Tchuisi – SR – 82 OVR – 6'10” PF – 91 orb/85 drb. 78 post off/76 post def. 94 close/92 in traffic. 4.1 ppg/4.1 rpg
Backup SF Vidal Dalida is 6'7” and rated 86 OVR, better than anyone on our team, and he doesn't even Start for clemson. He can score from anywhere, has the speed of a guard and scores more than 9 a game.

| Its worse than it looks. We have forced two turnovers, and Barrett has a 3 point play and a layup off those two turnovers. We don't have a single point out of our half court offense yet. Alloway is 0-4 from 3, Forte 0-2, Barrett with a turnover, Sneed and McCants are having trouble setitng up and scoring inside against Clemson's 2-3 zone.

| Ugh, Clemson ends the half on a 14-2 run and ties it right back up. We shoot 12-31 on the half, 3-14 from 3, trying to shoot over their zone with normally solid 3 point shooters, Alloway is a ridiculously bad 0-7 from 3. Forte is 0-3. McClurkin is 2-3, Mayer 1-1 off the bench.
McClurkin and McCants lead us with 6, Barrett 5, Sneed 4. We need our guards to hit shots to win. Clemson is 14-28, 0-4 from 3. Their big men, Vitelli and Tchuisi both have 6, and a number of others have 4 for them. Shoot better and we win.

They get 10 from PG Gamble and 10 from their center Tchuisi. But Bookout shoots 4-15, 1-6 from 3 and their backup guards are pretty awful from the field as well. Alloway was horrible for us too but we had stronger production inside.

We weren't great by any stretch, poor shooting in many places. Sneed only hit double figures icing the game from the line, Barrett was good when he could get on the break which was rare. Such a critical game against a good team though, a great win to close out the regular season.
