That's funny, but an unfortunate danger to this format. Usually I offer a bonus-heavy deal on the guy I want the most, and for the other offers, I make the bonus something I can swallow if I get multiple accepted offers.
I'm completely stoked about signing Levon Bradley the WR, his GD rating already shows a 42 when right-clicked in the trade screen, indicating as I suspected that his better than average AGIL drill was a hint that he'll creep up and finish maybe closer to 60 OVR than his current 34/51
