Saturday, May 1st, 2038: Republic League Names Rookie of Month
Gaël Pichette was toddling around on his tricycle when some of the guys he's playing against were in their prime, but the 21-year-old first baseman definitely knows how to get to first, second or beyond. Today he was chosen April's Republic League Rookie of the Month for his remarkable month of hitting.

In 25 games Pichette batted .333 for New York, slapping 33 hits in 99 at-bats with 7 home runs, drove in 30 runs and scored 17 times.

Saturday, May 1st, 2038: Adams Gets April's Rookie Trophy
With April's Continental League Rookie of the Month title slung over his shoulder, Mark Adams has no reason to be modest about his statistical output. But he was, telling BNN reporters, "I just put the bat on the ball a lot and a lot of them fell in. It was just my month to shine."

The 26-year-old blistered the baseball last month as he posted a .350 batting average, 14 hits, 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
