See, the tricky thing about that for me was that as DM, I knew exactly what would happen, but as Krevac the Unjust, I had to
suppress that knowledge in order to advance the story. I had a little system set up where I would roll two d12s and a d8 to simulate each character's decision making prowess. Barbarians, for obvious reasons, would use a d4 and two d6s. But the
point is, using standard probability matrices, I could make tactical decisions for each of the five stalwart adventurers in my party, including some very tender roleplay scenarios played out between Allafina, the half-elven minstrel, and Buzzex, the gully dwarf war priest who loved her from afar.
Look, all I'm saying is that sometimes when you get into Strat-o-matic, you find yourself living near Baltimore in 1988 and running a replay campaign for the hometown nine doesn't seem as worthwhile as it does in some other towns or eras. A little Ken Gerhart is too much Ken Gerhart, I always say.
