Thursday, May 29th, 2042: Dimiceli Reaches 3000 Milestone
The box score from yesterday's game will show that New York beat the Hartford Harpooners, 8-2. It will also show that right fielder Sandro Dimiceli went 3-for-5 for the Heroes. It will not show, however, that Dimiceli reached the 3000-hit mark for his career.

The 36-year-old Dimiceli reflected on the achievement after the game. He mused: "In one respect, it's a real milestone, I guess. Yet, it's just a base hit like any other base hit."

Taking a look at his lifetime stats, Dimiceli is hitting .321 with a total of 101 home runs.
