José Manuel Reina, Albert Riera and Lucas were selected in the English Premier League Team of the Week first eleven. Liverpool's full-back Emiliano Insúa has wowed the fans at Anfield this month with some outstanding performances and has duly won the English Premier Division Young Player of the Month. With not much to choose between the top three, Birmingham's James O'Shea took second place and James Tomkins of West Ham came third.
The full-back has impressed for The Reds over the past month with a series of decent performances. It’s not just this month he has played good. Before the season most experts had Fábio Aurélio as the number one left back for Liverpool this season but Emiliano Insúa have been the clear number one for almost the entire season and kept the 30-year veteran on the bench.
