Ugh, I simmed ahead into the playoffs. one of the super annoying things about the game is that the regular seasons standings page is no longer available once the postseason is officially entred. I'll piece it together using the seedings and "team history" page, which is ridiculous, but here we go:

Eastern Conference Playoff Seeds

1. Cleveland (53-29)
2. Atlanta (50-32)
3. Washington (48-34)
4. New Jersey (41-41)
5. Charlotte (47-35)
6. Indiana (45-37)
7. Chicago (41-41)
8. Boston (41-41)

Western Conference Playoff Seeds

1. Sacramento (55-27)
2. Portland (51-31)
3. Oklahoma City (48-34)
4. Memphis (46-36)
5. Golden State (46-36)
6. Utah (45-37)
7. LA Lakers (45-37)
8. Denver (44-38)

So we do indeed get a rematch of last year's playoffs with the Nets, but things appear to be a lot different this year. Last year we barely made the playoffs but b/c of a big mess at the bottom of the standings we lucked our way into the 5 seed. This year we're the 5 because Atlanta and Washington were so good in our division and appear to have a big upper hand over New Jersey. The defending champs in portland earn the 2 seed out west.
